The spectacular coastlines of Southern Finistere and Southern Brittany are less than 45 minutes away, as are the beautiful old towns of Quimper, Pontivy, Guemene sur Scorff, Pont Aven, Quimperle and Huelgoat. There are abundant trails for walking and cycling throughout the area Down the track that skirts the back garden, you will quickly come to a pretty little lake, with children's play area, table tennis facilities and safe swimming.
Alternatively, there's a much larger lake at both Glomel and Priziac, 10 kilometres away (see picture) which has its own beach. The facilities available locally - fishing, horse riding, fishing, quad biking, go-karting, golf, tennis, adventure playground, boating, sailing, petanque. zoo, nature park etc are detailed in the Visitors' Book in the Gite.
The approximate location of the house in Brittany is marked on the map by a blue circle. It is ideally situated away from the main bustle and traffic of the coast, yet still within easy reach for day trips. See Gallery for further pictures of the region.
