Corlay Gite - Brittany

Village
Within walking distance of the gite there are small lakes and the ruins of the 15th century chateau. In summer there are a number of festivals - e.g. the national day celebrations on 13th July with fireworks, local music and dancing and barbecue.

Also within walking distance are La Fontaine Saint Alain and the old 16th century wash houses that are still used today by a few diehard bretons.
Then there's Hubert's place where young and old alike can chat together in Breton, French or English and enjoy a coffee, tea, beer or whisky - or any combination(s) thereof!
In summer, Hubert stages live rock music or breton singing and, of course, the mandatory barbecues in a lively and convivial atmosphere.
Another part of Corlay's history is the 15th century church of Saint Sauveur located in the main square of the town.
There are also sporting facilities within the village - e.g. tennis
